LOS ANGELES — Seth Gamble reprises his acclaimed role as Deadpool in Wicked Pictures’ “Captain Marvel XXX: An Axel Braun Parody.” Gamble won a 2019 XBIZ Award for the same snarky role in “Deadpool XXX” earlier this year.
The swordsman is happy to finally be able to talk about his appearance in the film. “Axel has done a brilliant job of keeping the details a secret, and now that the trailer and feature are finally out — the surprise was well worth it," he said.
His role in “Captain Marvel XXX” carries extra emotional resonance for Gamble: his real-life girlfriend, Kenzie Taylor, plays the title role.
“Watching my girlfriend Kenzie [as] Captain Marvel was such an amazing sight to behold. I’m so proud of her,” he said. “I think it goes without saying that playing Deadpool is a dream role, and I’m really grateful to be a part of Axel’s re-creation of this incredible world.”
Braun praised Gamble’s wide-ranging talents, work ethic and professionalism. “Every year I strive to raise my own bar and make movies that I can be proud of,” he said. “At the same time I also try to have a positive and fulfilling experience on set, something that will stay with me and keep me connected to that journey.”
“An easy way to accomplish both these tasks is to have Seth in my movies,” Braun continued. “Not only is he the best and most versatile actor I have ever worked with, but he brings to my projects a level of passion and absolute commitment beyond anything I’ve experienced in 30 years in the adult industry.”
Braun remains impressed with Gamble’s ability to believably portray wildly different characters, adding that Gamble’s current role in Adult Time’s “Perspective,” opposite Angela White, is “probably the best dramatic acting I’ve ever seen in an adult movie.”
He is pleased Gamble was a part of “Captain Marvel XXX,” Braun’s 60th parody. “I am truly blessed to have had Seth participate in this milestone, but even more blessed to call him my friend and watch him achieve the level of success that he absolutely deserves and that he worked so hard for.”
